Events and wedding singer

Hi! My name is Alice Gem and I am a professional singer of 14 years who has toured worldwide including the UK & I have  also featured on British Television.

I started my career singing in local pubs and bars, winning various singing competitions, which then led to winning a Nationwide singing competition called 'The Stobart Factor' which was judged by XFactor’s Louis Walsh. This kickstarted my career in singing at corporate events and weddings across the UK and to soon follow a successful career as a British Actress! 

​

I began my TV career in 'Hollyoaks' and portrayed regular character Rae Wilson from 2009 to 2011. Shortly after leaving 'Hollyoaks', I landed a recurring role in E4 comedy show 'Drifters' playing Sara and appeared in Casualty, Banana, Shakespeare & Hathaway, Coronation Street, Power of Parker to name a few.

To further my singing career I appeared on the BBC show 'The Voice' to which Tom Jones and Danny O'Donoghue turned around leading me through to the blind stages but I was sadly knocked out of the competition by the winner of the series.

​

During my career on British Television, I played the recurring role of karaoke singer Annie Redmond in Series 7 of the ITV show ‘Benidorm'. Shortly after I then went on to tour the UK with the Dusty Springfield musical 'Son of a Preacher Man' playing the lead for six months.

​

I am also a well established veteran when it comes to performing for the British Troops- having been flown out and performed in Afghanistan, Poland, Cyprus, Falkland Islands to name a few.

 I absolutely love performing at weddings and I would love to be part of your special day!
